marikane on "[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] NextGen Gallery gone with WordPress upgrade"

Hi-

I upgraded a client's WordPress site from 3.6 to 3.9.1 and the Nextgen Gallery disappeared!

Is this normal? I reinstalled the plugin and no files have appeared.

Re-importing the WP xml files has not reinstated the galleries.

What I can I do?
Please advise, thanks!
