I'm considering installing WP, but my old, hand coded site has a lot of "other" files sitting in odd directories:
- XML Directory - Accessed by other sites.
- PDF Directory - Linked to by internal & external links.
- Archives - Linked to by internal & external links.
- Images - With external links so the URL shouldn't change.
I'm trying to figure out how to make sure these are properly handled before making the switch. In short I need to make sure the files are accessible, linkable with static URLs. How would you excellent folk handle this?
