I have been trying to use the export posts from an existing WordPress site using the export feature. On the export page I select Posts, All Categories, I choose the author I want (admin in this case), pick my date range, and I only want published content.
When it saves the XML file it includes no post content and just a bunch of information about users. Using the import feature on the other site makes no changes.
I am exporting from version 3.8. What am I doing wrong?
