We created a custom post type called ‘articles’ on our old site. Now, we want to migrate the content of this ‘articles’ custom post type. Although ‘Can Export’ is already enabled, the export process only exported the text content of the articles, not the featured images. When I check the Media section, it only uploads the XML file that we exported from the old site, instead of uploading the featured images.
How do we make sure that the featured images for each articles are carried over during the export process?
