We are using your sitemap plugin, and it is nice. We have a website with 20k+ posts, and the website is a multilingual WordPress website. We are using WPML for the multilingual functionality. We created a custom language for Korean with the language code KR using the WPML plugin. Your plugin works well, and it shows all the posts from the Korean language to the Google News sitemap. However, we have an issue with the Google Search Console. It shows showing the sitemap has some issues (the sitemap index can be read but has errors). The issue is mentioned below.
Invalid tag value
Parent Tag: publication
Tag: language
How can we solve this issue? I think this is because of the custom code that we gave to the Korean language (KR). The language code for the Korean language is KO instead of KR. Is there any way to replace the KR with KO in the sitemap that is created by your plugin?
