This plugin is fairly useful and can force you to write better content, especially if you’re lazy like me. However, on submitting the sitemap to Google, it transpires there is an XML error in one of the site-maps generated by Yoast SEO.
In particular, I get an error in the post-sitemap.xml where a required tag is missing: url tag is missing from the urlset tag. As properly formed XML is essential for it to be effective (especially in something like a sitemap), I’m sure this can be fixed easily for an upcoming update.
