I'm trying to move my wordpress blog over to squarespace but every time I try to import the XML file into squarespace the import fails. After contacting squarespace they were able to look at my XML file and their response was the following:
"I ran that file through a validator, and it looks like it's missing an RSS declaration:

To get this to work, I'd suggest contacting Wordpress directly to see if there's anything they can do to help you generate a valid XML for your site."
All plugins are deactivated so I'm running out of ideas why the XML file is incomplete.
Please help!
