tr123 on "Is an XML safe to import after hacking"

Hi, I have recently had my sites hacked, it appears even the codeguard backups are infected.

I have exported and XML file from one of the sites, will this be safe to import into a fresh install on new hosting or is there any way I can check that it is free from malware?
