audball_brian on "[Plugin: Quick Featured Images] doesn't seem to be working with syndicated posts"

I have posts that get posted on my site automatically via RSS syndication and I am trying to assign featured images to the posts based on categories so that everything is automattic. No matter what I do it seems I can't assign the images when they get posted, it only works if I am assigning featured images to old posts. Any ideas?
