Hi Ross! Thanks for your reply. Maybe everything is okay but I don't know how to make it work. I downloaded Pinnacle theme but when I installed and activated it I miss some parts of the theme:
1. I don't see the Menu items (Home, Portfolio, Contact us...) at all but there is a message 'No menu assigned' at the top right (inside the Menu)
2. The logo on top left (inside the Menu) is missing
3. The main header "PINNACLE A versatile, responsive WordPress theme." is using a different font
4. The section below, which contains "Great Photography, Responsive Design, Tons of Options" is missing completely!?
5. The section which contains "Responsive design. Powerful Options." and "Read more" button is also completely missing
6. The section with the latest posts is there but w/o photos (but I later managed to add some other photos by myself)
7. The footer is there but it only has one line of text "© 2015 Pinnacle - WordPress Theme by Kadence Themes" everything else is missing: footer logo, Follow us, Resources, Recent projects and the small menu at the bottom right.
When I go to C://xampp/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/pinaccle/assets/img I can see that most of the images, icons and logos that are shown on the theme link above are not downloaded at all into the img folder on my C disc (C://xampp/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/pinaccle/assets/img). Maybe because of user rights as the link above is just a demo? Or not???
Am I supposed to see those free WP themes as they show up on the theme demos online in the same way when I install them or it is normal that most of the photos, logos, icons... etc. is missing???
This is very likely just a basic question but I would like to figure this out properly, so I can move on with learning WP. Thanks for your time and patience!
