You need to use a browser inspector, if you are using firefox then it is firebug, each browser has an equivalent addon.
Using the html tab of your browser inspector, look at your pages, find some images that do load and some that don't. What is the difference ?
Also look at the theme files loaded in the page header, is the theme "style.css" file loading correctly ? Can you see its contents ?
It may be that your file ownership and/or permissions are not correct, preventing your apache web server from accessing them.
